Why do i think of the obvious and then the original?

ok well basically i had english last lesson and we'e doin g a self speech assessment. why is the first topic i think Haiti? that is the most obvious thing thats even a blind deaf monkey could think of talking about! am i losing my originality? why did i not think of something like a beauty paegant fiasco or cassandra warren? why do those ideas come halfway through the lesson when i have already told my teacher my first boring idea. i think even my teacher thought it was boring. she even said "Make it interesting". yes i am quoting her exact words. ok i'm not one to really show my randomness publicily cos i am no Lorelai Gilmore but why do i sound so normal. i didn't even think about using my last speech from 2 years ago on ambition and believing in yourself. hmm that ..no i may just stick with the beauty paegant idea or even haiti. i don't actually think my teacher will let me change my topic without a frown and an endless irish moan cos she may just MAY have caught me smirking at her trying to open a bottle of sparkling water but i was bored.
